Well, here's teaser no.4, below that are the pieces to the puzzel that are already there.
Honda is supposed to release some official pic's on the Crosstour today, so stay posted.

Move aside Toyota Venza, Honda has unveiled its latest offering: the Honda Accord Crosstour. And this time it’s official. The Accord CUV - not station wagon - will go on sale this fall as a 2010 model.

While the press release is brief to say the least, the Accord Crosstour will probably be based off the Acura ZDX and current Honda Accord. Honda’s official website now lists the Accord Crosstour as a future model and features a timer counting down to September 1. At which point Honda will tell us what exactly it is that they’ve put together.

It is yet to be seen if my previous prediction about the Crosstour deriving power from the Acura RDX’s 2.3-Liter turbo fourbanger is true. It was also predicted that an AWD setup might be in the works. Conveniently enough, the press release confirms/debunks absolutely nothing:

Personally, I’d much rather have Honda of America skip this whole CUV bullshit. The European Accord Tourer (pictured below) is a very fine car and it’s absolutely stunning to look at. Skip the drama and just give us the Accord Tourer.

Edmunds gets a few Spyshots of the next Accord Wagon

We heard it was coming, but we didn't think it would look quite like this. This 2010 Honda Accord hatch, or Crosshatch, or whatever it's going to be called was spotted on a trip through Las Vegas.

It was probably on its way to Death Valley for some last minute hot weather testing before it goes on sale later this year. No doubt designed to take on the Toyota Venza in the "cool wagon" category, this Accord hatchback is more carlike than even the Venza. Fine if that's what you're into, but we kind of prefer the real Accord wagon that Europe gets. We'll see how this version goes over in the States soon enough.

More Honda "Crosstour" pic's

Once again, our spy photographers caught up with Honda’s upcoming Accord-based crossover - not far from where we originally shot it earlier in the week, but this time we managed to get a bit closer! Honda fans have been asking lots of questions and speculating, and we think this newest set of photos will satisfy most.In response to Toyota’s recently launched Venza crossover, Honda is preparing a new CUV based on the Accord. Believed to be called the CrossTour, the latest shots show reveal the forthcoming CUV’s interior as well as engine bay. Although visually similar to the upcoming Acura ZDX, the CrossTour will not ride on the ZDX’s platform.

Based on a modified Honda Accord chassis, this all-new crossover vehicle will start production in September of this year at the East Liberty factory in Ohio (the ZDX will be produced in Alliston, Ontario). The Accord CUV will slot in-between CR-V and Pilot and will look to do battle with Toyota’s new Venza CUV. It will likely be called the CrossTour.

These early-production prototypes are powered by Honda’s 3.5 i-VTEC engine, but earlier this year, we observed powertrain mules testing alongside a 2010 Acura RDX. We also noticed these mules accelerating rather briskly, so the 2.3L, four-cylinder turbo motor from the RDX may also have a chance of making it into the Accord CUV.

One thing we can say for sure about this vehicle is that AWD will be an option. A close look at this prototype reveals that it has a rear differential. More than likely, this means the car has Honda’s VTM-4 AWD system.

Something New is Coming to Honda!

Honda has quietly slipped this onto their Future Models portion of the US website, I am pretty sure they are talking about the 'Crosstour' (spyshot pictured below).

2010 Honda Accord Wagon (Passport?!?)

Here is some info that I found on the upcoming Honda Accord Wagon.
Pictured below is the Euro Accord Wagon....
Powertrains for the 2010 Honda Passport will naturally come from Accord sedan­s and should also parallel Venza choices. That likely means a base 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine retune­d for around 190 horsepower, and a 3.5-liter V6 with Honda's gas-saving VCM cylinder-deactivation system and maybe 275 horses. A 5-speed automatic should be the only transmission. Buyers will have the usual choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, though 4-cylinder model­s may be denied AWD for performance and fuel-economy reasons.

­Not surprisingly, the 2010 Honda Passport will borrow many other features from its sedan sire. That should mean standard ABS, an­ antiskid system with traction control, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags. Options should likewise run to leather upholstery, sunroof, a navigation system with rearview camera, and premium audio with wireless phone hookup and music-player plug-in. Rear DVD entertainment will almost certainly be available, and a power liftgate may be, too. Wheels may well be smaller than the Venza's 19- and 20-inchers, which Consumer Guide deems too large for best ride comfort. We'd look for standard 18s and available 19s only.

­The­ Venza and now the 2010 Honda Passport mark another step in the evolution of SUVs from tall-body pseudo-trucks to something more like good old-fashioned station wagons that can be equipped with AWD. Tiny Subaru has prospered with Outback and Forester wagons that follow this exact formula. Now the big boys are joining in, so the trend should pick up speed, and that's fine with us. After all, not every driver needs to sit as high as an elephant's eye.

We haven't heard of any special innovations for the 2010 Honda Passport, but Honda is known for why-didn't-they-think-of-that-before features, so don't be surprised to see one or two such here. Sources do say the available AWD should have much in common with the Pilot's VTM-4 system, which lacks low-range gearing but allows locking-in a 50/50 power split for getting through, say, deep snow or rutted muddy dirt roads. But if it's a rock-hopper you want, look elsewhere. Like the Venza, this car won't have the necessary ground clearance or heavy-duty underpinnings, though chassis skid plates might be available.

TOV Rumours: 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour CUV

Crosstour We've heard whispers of this product for so long it seems that it's been under development forever. We don't have any confirmation on the name yet, but Honda recently registered the Crosstour name, so at the moment it makes the most sense. A flurry of spyshots of a cleverly disguised test mule for this vehicle provided plenty of fodder for internet discussions over the past year or so, but we're still waiting to catch a glimpse of how it will look in production sheetmetal. So far, those spy photos have eluded us. We don't know a lot about this vehicle but there is at least some consistency in the rumors that we've been hearing. First of all, it will be based upon the Accord platform. It will be larger than a CR-V, yet smaller than the Pilot, and priced accordingly (one source tells us it will be equipped to match the Venza for the most part, yet it will undercut it in price). Drivetrains are expected to also be borrowed from the Accord, which would most likely mean you'll get your choice of 4-cyl or 6-cylinder power. Since it will supposedly be equipped to take on the Venza, our guess is that the Crosstour will also offer VTM-4. We've heard a tentative launch date of November, 2009, but we're also told that it could be moved up slightly or even pushed back to early 2010; the decision will be based upon Honda's inventory levels and the overall state of the economy as those dates get closer.
Summary: Honda's long-rumored Accord-based crossover will finally be reaching showrooms soon.
Watch For: Spyshots of camo'd test vehicles to begin surfacing soon.

Acura/Honda ZDX?

Burlapp's found another good pic, this time of what looks like the ACURA ZDX with a Honda badge. Some people are going to think that this is going to be the new Accord Wagon, but I'm going to say that the lines are pretty much identical to the photo's below of the upcoming Acura Concept (ZDX). For those that don't know, Acura is pretty much North American only, and if the car comes out in Japan or UK, it will be badged a Honda, so the 'H' does make sense.

2010 Honda Accord CUV (Wagon) Information

Below are spy pic's taken by Brenda Priddy and Co. of the upcoming Honda Accord Wagon to be introduced to North America for fall 2009.
Below is a pic of a 2006 Honda Accord Wagon's Blueprints, just to help speculation of the the upcoming Accord Wagon to North America, below that is the blueprint of a Honda Airwave wagon-van.

Here's what we know so far....

-will have the North American Honda Accord front end.

-will be a little longer than the European Honda Accord Wagon.

-will sit higher of the ground than the existing North American Accord Sedan.

-will be built on the current Honda Accord platform.

-is to be situated between the Honda CRV and the Honda Pilot.

-will be a direct competitor to the Toyota Venza.

-speculation of the 4 wheel drive system to be the VTM-4 (Pilot and Ridgeline) and not the Realtime 4WD system (CRV).

-expect the 2.4l 4cyl and the 3.5l V6 to be carried over.

-expected to arrive into showrooms in September 2009.

Autoblog; Geneva 2009: Honda Accord Tourer Type-S (a sneak peak at our upcoming Accord CUV Wagon?)

Judging by the 'spyshots' of the Accord CUV Wagon that we in North America are getting for September 2009, this is going to be a sharp indication of what it will look like. Expect the North American Accord's nose and with a 4 wheel drive option, the vehicle will probably sit a little higher.
The car pictured above represents some of my favorite features in a main-stream car: it's a wagon and it's a diesel. I'm also fully aware that I am in a distinct minority on both counts among drivers in the U.S. market. This is the new European-market Honda Accord Tourer Type-S. We get the sedan version in the U.S., badged as the Acura TSX. Personally, I prefer the wagon version because it retains the overall size and dynamic characteristics of a sedan while adding a huge dollop of utility when needed. It's also quite a handsome car. Rumor has it we'll see this body style appear as a new Honda CUV in the states this fall with the high-riding Outback treatment. The wagon is not new to Europe but the new Type-S (also available as a sedan) is.

The Type-S Accord gets a 178 hp version of Honda's new iDTEC 2.2L diesel four cylinder with a stiff 280 lb-ft of torque. The Type-S gets larger 18" wheels and bumper and sill extensions for a more aggressive look. Unfortunately, this is very likely the car we were supposed to get as a TSX this year. However, market conditions have forced Honda to indefinitely cancel those plans. What a shame.

2010 Honda "Crosstour"?!?

Found some more information on the upcoming Honda Accord Wagon from Japancarblog.com....
It looks like Honda’s readying a new model to challenge Toyota’s all-new Venza. Spy shots of the station wagon (what it really is) show a slighty enlarged blend of the American Accord and the European Accord Tourer. The test car reportedly carried a “Latitude” badge but trademark records from December 16, 2008 hint the Honda might name it the “Crosstour” instead.

Jalopnik is predicting power will be derived from the Acura MDX’s 2.3-Liter turbo fourbanger. They also predict the rear differential is a sign that an AWD setup might be in the works.

If the wagon makes it to production, which rumors are suggesting is likely, it’ll be the first U.S. market Honda wagon in more than a decade.

Honda's Next Crossover Vehicle Expected to Land in Showrooms of North America Late September 2009

Just a short while ago Brenda Priddy & Co. caught the above car being tested in the 'wild' with some enough camo (see tape over the fenders and what not) to disguise the cosmetic appearance but not enough camo to disguise the fact that Honda is working on a new crossover, this one looking a lot like a station wagon.

I can confirm that as of now Honda Canada is brining this vehicle to Canada's (and I would imagine USA's) showrooms for purchase.

Not much else is known about the vehicle, although there is heavy speculation that the CUV would come with either Honda's Realtime 4WD or VTM-4X4. I imagine that there could be 2X engine choices as well, 4 and 6 cylinders.

This vehicle does make sense in the fact that Toyota has brought about their own 'wagon' to be released in the North American market called the Venza, pictured below.

This mule could be Honda's answer to the Toyota Venza.

A gap exists in the Honda lineup between the mid-size Pilot and compact CR-V SUVs, and the company might be filling that hole with an Accord-based crossover. Caught here wearing no camouflage, this bash-up mule could turn into a vehicle that would do battle with the new Toyota Venza.

Possibly based on the European-only Accord Tourer wagon, this CUV prototype wears the familiar U.S.-market Accord front end grafted to a Tourer body. There are fender flares pinned to the body sides, indicating a wider track, and masking around the C-pillar hides a stretched wheelbase. From the back, a rear differential makes it evident the CUV will get power to the rear wheels as well as those in the front, likely via Honda’s VTM-4 all-wheel-drive system. Power could come from the same 2.4-liter four-cylinder and 3.5-liter V-6 engines offered on the current Accord; the dual exhaust on this mule likely means it carries the V-6.

When asked to comment on the spy photos and its possible reponse to the Ford Flex and Toyota Venza, Honda stated simply that "it is always evaluating the needs of its customers." However unconfirmed, we’d expect that a mid-size crossover is all but guaranteed from a company known for being as forward-thinking as Honda.

Prancing around with no camo and combining currently produced sheetmetal, this is likely a mule that would look markedly different in production. Watch for an announcement at an upcoming auto show. We'll keep you posted.
