Autointrends.com reported the speculation and rendering in January 2012.That time we posted computer generation image from the Mag-X which have sportyness and sharp line.Above of all Autointrends considers it too futurelistic for the car that schedule to arrive next year.

Now,We got Latest rendering from same magazine.But this time the image is more realistic (actually it the most realistic that autointrends have ever seen).It look very sporty, well proportion and improve from current car’s design.The headligh will be larger,the bumper will have more muscle.The line at side of the car will be more complex and have 2nd line at below of the door.The opera’s window and rear pillar will look like similar styling to current car.

The size of the car will be similar to current car.The 1.3 liter engine will improve very much in fuel economy from 24.5 km./liter to 30 km./liter or even 32 km./liter in gasoline/electric version.The economy which save more because the use of CVT,Better aerodynamic and reduce weight of the car.

Autoten: 2013 Toyota Corolla (JDM-Code name 140A) rendering and spyshots

As we know the Corolla is consist of Auris(Hatchback for Europe),Corolla Altis(Wider verions for North American and Asia) and Corolla Axio/Fielder that limit only in Japan.This post, Autointrends have information for JDM specification that including the sedan version-Axio, and wagon version call Fielder.both car is count as the 10th generation’s Corolla start sale since October 2006 in Japan and received latest update in April 2010.

The car is soon to get replacement and Mag-x of Japan have release rendering and spyshot of the car,The Axio call codename 140A and the Fielder called 141A internally.From the rendering we have seen, the headlight look resemble of new Toyota Camry’s headlight (Asia version),Shoulder line have been keep at minimal which not wider than 1700 mm to receive cheaper yearly tax in Japan ( Called 5No.),Tail light is very close to the Chevy Sonic.

Next Gen Honda Odyssey for Japan

The Honda Odyssey is a smaller van in Japan, much in the same vein as the old 1995-1998 Honda Odyssey that was here in North America. This was taken from a MagX (Japanese auto mag) cover. Anyway, not coming here, but nice to see none the less.

2012 Honda CRV Information from TOV and MagX

TOV reader comes across a July 2009 issue of japanese magazine MAGX with a article on the 2012 Honda CRV."Loyal TOV reader Dan forwarded this July '09 Mag-X piece on the 2012 CR-V. TOV member 'sugaki' was kind enough to provide a translation of it. Thanks go out to both.

In summary, Mag-X says that the basic requirements for the next generation CR-V (production code 2WS) have been settled and Honda is currently focusing on the styling direction for the 4th generation of their compact SUV. Due to the current CR-V's popularity abroad, it is said that the new model will be very similar in size to the current version. The dimensions projected by Mag-X reflect very small increases in length, width and height (4535x1820x1685 mm).

Mag-X mentions that Honda is aiming to improve the CR-V's sales performance from the current pace of around 800 units/month to around 1130 units (an increase of about 40%). Honda originally intended to sell the current model at a rate of roughly 2000 units/month. (Side note: even in our incredibly poor market conditions, the CR-V sold at an average rate of 560 units PER DAY in the USA last month). The targets for the US-market are not mentioned, but supposedly Honda is looking to increase monthly sales in Europe by around 5% (up to 5350 cars/month).

Mag-X asserts that for cost-saving reasons, the next-generation CR-V will be based upon the current platform, and the 2.4L K24A engine will also carry over. A 2.0L version is also being planned for entry level Japanese market FWD-only trims. Mag-X goes on to say that Honda is considering saving the introduction of an advanced engine for a big mid-cycle model change. Additionally, according to the article are no plans for a V6 engine for North America.

According to the article, there are no plans to introduce a diesel CR-V in Japan, but the diesel will continue to be offered in the European market. It is also noted that production of Honda's i-DTEC diesel engines will shift from the Suzuka factory to the new Ogawa factory starting in the fall.

Mag-X says the exterior design should be finalized by November of this year, and the new CR-V is planned to be announced in September of 2011, with a formal introduction taking place in October of 2011 at the Tokyo Motor Show."
