The Walking Dead creator designs Hyundai Elantra zombie survival machine

When it comes to surviving and fighting the zombie hordes, a Hyundai Elantra would never come to my mind. I’d feel better driving something much larger that could hold more bullets and beer. Still, the Hyundai Elantra Coupe created by The Walking Dead writer Robert Kirkman would probably do the job well enough.
This car may have started life as a plain, and rather boring Elantra Coupe, but it was transformed into a zombie killing death machine. It has long spinning spikes that stick out from the wheels, lots of lighting on the roof, what appears to be riveted steel panels for more protection, and a spiked plow for mowing through the zombie hordes. I also like the roof-mounted escape hatch.
The vehicle was designed to celebrate The Walking Dead’s 100th issue at Comic-Con. Along with zombie killing machine; a customized Elantra GT with a wrap of the cover of the 100 issue will be given away. The image here is only a drawing of the along track zombie death machine, but apparently the car was actually built for the 100 issue celebration. Hopefully, some pictures of the actual car will turn up.

Keep in mind that this is purely a speculative 'shop', and is not on Honda's radar (as far as I know).... Great job though....
I got curious about how the CR-V will look with the Crosstour’s roof. This is the result. It’s lower than the CR-s in head room and in ground clearance. Will Honda build this? Well, there will be such car soon from BMW, the X4.

Hotwheels gets creative in recent Ads
Don't you just wish they built motorways like this? Sadly they don't; it's just an advertisement for Hot Wheels, who constructed a giant faux-loop on a motorway bridge in the Colombian capital Bogota. But we really, really want it to be real. You can almost imagine a giant hand entering stage left to whizz a shiny-wheeled car around the loop. Sadly, this is merely a new marketing wheeze from the toy-car company, part of a campaign that has also involved projecting a giant virtual Hot Wheels race track onto the side of a building in Australia. But this latest stunt seems to have worked rather well at PH HQ, where more than one of our number are planning an excursion into the loft this evening to see if we can find our old sets. 'The Beetles are coming!' Oprah Winfrey gives a brand new VW to all 275 of her audience
Wow, this is pretty awesome!
It may be the last year of her talk show, but Oprah Winfrey is clearly determined to go out with a bang.
Today, in the second part of her annual Favourite Things episode, the talk show host gave away a brand new VW Beetle to every member of her 275 strong audience.
Keys were handed out to the screaming crowd, who will be the first group to get behind the wheel of the new updated model, hitting showrooms next autumn.
'Oh yeah, oh yeah, I gotcha, I gotcha,' she yelled to the stunned audience after a massive gift box was opened to reveal the car's silhouette.
Today's giveaway was the second part of Oprah's "Favourite Things" episode.
The first half, which aired next week, saw the talk show host give away thousands of dollars worth of prizes including a Sony television and Caribbean cruise.
The 56-year-old talk show host also gave the audience an Apple iPad, which she proclaimed her 'No. 1 favourite thing ever.
'I know it's wrong to be in love with a thing, and I don't normally recommend it,' she said, before declaring the gadget the 'best invention of the century so far.'
Oprah also gave the audience several items of clothing, including a cashmere sweater, Ugg boots covered in sequins and a patent-leather Coach bag that cost nearly $400.
'It's not really about all the gifts,' she said. 'Although the stuff is really fun, it really for me is about hope.
